PPI programme to begin on December 6

Imphal, Jan 05: The first round of the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme (PPI) in Manipur will begin from tomorrow till January eight. The second round start from February 10 to 12.

Official sources said about 3447 IPP booths would be opened and about 14,477 personnel including 13,788 vaccinators and 689 supervisors would be deployed. The Pulse Polio booths would remain functional from 0900 to 1600 hours every day.

The hospitals would also open such booths.

UNI
