Post-stampede govt appoints new EO

Vijayawada, Jan 5 (UNI) Mr Chandra Kumar, the Executive Officer (EO) of the Vemulvada temple, has been appointed as the EO of the Kanakadurga temple, where six people were killed in a stampede on Thursday.

Mr Kumar replaces Krishna Mohan, who was holding the additional charge as the EO of the temple.

Mr Mohan would continue as the Endowments Deputy Commissioner at Kakinada.
