Molasses consultancy set up in UP

Lucknow, Jan 5 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has constituted a Molasses Consultancy Committee for collection, loading and classification of molasses in the state.

Besides, the UP government has made minor changes in rule 3 of the state Molasses Consultancy Committee by decreasing its member strength from 13 to 10.

The decision to this effect was taken during a meeting of Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Mayawati late last evening.

UP Molasses Controller has been made the ex-officio chairperson of the Committee, while Joint Excise Commissioner/Deputy Excise Commissioner has been made the ex-officio secretary.
