Miscreats attack car carrying Mann

Moga, Jan 5 (UNI) Some unidentified persons attacked a car carrying Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simrajit Singh Mann at Baghapurana in this district last evening.

They manhandled and beat up his driver but escaped when they found that Mr Mann was sitting inside the vehicle.

Baghapurana police registered a case in this connection on the complaint of Manjit Singh, driver of Mr Mann.

Addressing a press conference this morning, Mr Mann strongly criticised the attack on his vehicle and manhandling of his driver.

He demanded a high level probe into the incident.
