ISC delegates enjoy various forms of Andhra

Visakhapatnam, Jan 5 (UNI) The last two days of the 95th Indian Science Congress (ISC) here has offered the distinguished scientists from all over the country and also from abroad an opportunity to have not only the traditional Andhra food but they have performed the traditional Sivathandavam as well.

The noble laureate Prof Robert Curl said that he enjoyed the South Indian 'delicacies'. ''The Andhra food was delicious, its the true flavour of India,'' he said after the meals.

The ISC delegates tasted the famous Andhra dishes like ulavacharu, chepala pulusu, chepala iguru, along with the gongura pachachadi and gongura pappu apart from the popular Hyderabadi chicken biryani, fish fry which were available at the food courts arranged in the Andhra University.
