Dr L Chandramani Singh re-elected MPP president

Imphal, Jan 5 (UNI) The Manipur People's Party (MPP) has re-elected Dr L Chandramani Singh as its president.

Returning Officer L Jatra said here today that Dr Singh had submitted three papers for the candidature of the MPP president for the term 2008-2010.

All the papers were checked yesterday and found to be valid, the returning officer said.

Dr Singh had served as the Deputy Chief Minister under Mr W Nipamacha's government earlier.
