CM inaugurates conference on applied psychology

Puducherry, Jan 5 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy inaugurated the tenth 'National Conference on Applied Psychology and Web World,' here today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said his Government was giving priority for job oriented education. The per capita income had risen from Rs 48,000 to Rs 61,000 during the Congress regime, he added.

Lauding the Organisers of the Conference, the Puducherry Psychology Association and the Psychometric Educational Service, Mr Rangasamy said such conferences would lead to evolution of unique views and changes in the society.

The Chief Minister distributed 'Puducherry Psychology' award to five people on the occasion.
