Advocate General withdraws resignation
Bhopal, Jan 5(UNI) Madhya Pradesh's Advocate General Ravinandan Singh has withdrawn his resignation on the request of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
''Mr Chouhan has declined to accept my resignation and requested me to continue in office'', Mr Singh, who met the Chief Minister here yesterday, told UNI.
''The Chief Minister was much impressed with my performance as Advocate General in the last four years and wanted me to continue in the office. By adhering to the wishes of the Chief Minister, I am withdrawing the resignation'', Mr Singh added.
Mr Singh, in an apparent move to give chance to another to work as Advocate General, had sent his resignation letter to the Law department on December 31.
Meanwhile, Mr Singh attended the Advocate General's office at Jabalpur and discharged routine duties.
