UPSS district manager suspended for laxity

Gonda, Jan 4 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Sehkari Sangh (UPSS) district manager R P Singh, has been suspended over alleged irregularities detected in the purchase of paddy here.

The action had been taken against him.

On December 13, the district magistrate had also warned Mr Singh, following anomalies came to light in a review meet.

Only 11,000 metric ton paddy had been purchased against the fixed target of 14,000 metric ton in the district.
