Two children died, five injured in a road accident

Lakhisarai, Jan 4 (UNI) Altogether two children died and five, including a minor girl, sustained serious injuries in an accident yesterday on Lakhisarai-Jamui highway in the district, police said today.

The accident yesterday occurred when a loaded tractor suddenly overturned.

The vehicle was on its way from Khairi-Hasanpur village in Jamui district to Devghra Tola in Lakhisarai district.

Two minors died on the spot while four women and a minor girl sustained serious injuries.

The injured were rushed to a government hospital in the district.

However, the reason behind the accident is being investigated, police said.
