School principal convicted for forgery
Bhopal, Jan 4 (UNI) A special court of Dhar has sentenced the Principal of Government higher secondary school at Manawar, to two and a half years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2000 for fraudulently withdrawing amount from the General Provident Fund (GPF).
The Lokayukta police has registered a case in December, 1995 against Suresh Tiwari for misusing his position as a public servant to withdraw amount from GPF in a conspiratorial manner.
The special court before which the challan was put up in September 1998 recently convicted the principal, official sources said today.
