Ranchi, Jan 4 (UNI) The Steel Authority of India Limited has been selected as the winner of the 'Golden Peacock Innovative Products/Service Award-2007'.

The award was selected by a jury comprising former Chief Justice of India P N Bhagwati and would be presented by Union minister for Tourism Ms Ambika Soni on January 13 during the valedictory Session of the 18th World Congress on Total Quality in New Delhi, official sources said here today.

The Golden Peacock award signifies the pinnacle of achievements in recognition towards the development of innovative value-added products, suited to demanding application environment in high growth segments, sources added.
