Maoist leader remanded to judicial custody

Karim Nagar, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 4 (UNI) CPI Maoist Central Committee Member Malla Raji Reddy alias Sattenna, who was arrested along with his wife and Maoist Sangita, by the Andhra Pradesh Police in Anganamaly in Kerala on December 18, was produced before the First Class Judicial Magistrate at Manthani court, amid tight security, in this district .

The Magistrate Ms Hemalatha had remanded the Maoist leader in judicial custody until January 17. He was produced before the court yesterday inconnection with the cases pending against him in the district.

Meanwhile, the police filed a petition before the court seeking permission to conduct narco analysis test on Raji Reddy in Bangalore.
