Indian PM to make official visit to China
New Delhi, Jan 4, 2008: Addressing a news conference in New Delhi on January 3rd, Navtej Sarna, spokesperson of the Indian foreign Ministry, said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is scheduled to visit China later this month.
According to Chinese figures the trade between the world's two most populous nations boomed to $34.2 billion in 2007. To strengthen the relations between the two countries, China and India held a weeklong anti-terrorism drill last month, as their first joint army exercise.
