Governor to administer oath to Indu Shahani

Mumbai, Jan 4 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna will administer the oath of office to Dr Indu Shahani as the Sheriff of Mumbai tomorrow.

Dr Shahani is a well known educationist presently serving as the Principal of H R College of Commerce&Economics, Mumbai. She is also a member of the Academic Council of the University of Mumbai.

Born on March 19, 1954, Dr Indu Shahani holds a PhD in Commerce from University of Mumbai. She is a member of IB Education Committee and IB Asia-Pacific Regional Advisory Committee. She is a visiting faculty member of UC Berkeley and the School of Management NJIT, USA, an official release said here today.
