Five CPI(Maoist) supporters arrested in Palamu

Daltonganj, Jan 4 (UNI) The Jharkhand police arrested five people, allegedly CPI(Maoist) supporters, from the Obra area under Vishrampur police station in Palamu district early today.

Acting on a tip-off, police, from both the Palamu and Garwah districts, conducted a joint operation in the area and nabbed the five people, police said.

Five country-made guns were also recovered from their possession, police added.
