Devotees donate money, vegetables

Tirumala, Jan 4 (UNI) Two Srivari devotees have donated Rs 10 lakh each to the various TTD-run schemes and another devotee donated tonnes of vegetables to the annadhana conducted by TTD here.

Reka Chelasani and Srikant Settypally, both from Chennai, handed over the DDs of Rs 10 lakh each to the temple JEO Balaramaiah, a TTD official said here today.

Ms Chelasini gave Rs 10 lakh to the Pranadana scheme and Ms Settypally donated Rs 10 lakh to the Gosamrakshana trust, run by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam).

Meanwhile, another devotee from Chennai M V Ananta Krishnan handed over 14 tonnes of vegetables to TTD annadhana deputy executive office Chandramohan Naidu.
