CMAI and CSMA join hands to bring sewing machinery show
Mumbai, Jan 4 (UNI) The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) and the China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA) are jointly organizing the China Sewing Machinery&Accessories Show, India 2008'' from January 10 to 12, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
The Show, spread over an area of 10,000 Sqm. is the first ever Solo Show Organized by CSMA outside China.
Mr. Rahul Mehta, President of CMAI, told UNI, the purpose of holding the Exhibition is to showcase the whole China Sewing Machinery Industry and their Latest Technology to the Apparel Manufacturers and Distributors in India , South Asia and South East Asia .
China is the most important Sewing Machinery Manufacturing Country accounting for more then 70 percent of the Total World Production, he said.
In the last two years, several Chinese Companies have entered the Indian Market by appointing Agents, setting up Representative Offices and participating in the Machinery Shows.
The Clothing Manufacturers Association Of India (CMAI) is the pioneer and most representative Association of the Indian Apparel Industry for over four Decades. It has a Membership base of over 20,000 Companies, including Readymade Garment Manufacturers, Exporters, Retailers and ancillary Industry.
