Chouhan blames Centre for power crisis
Betul, MP, Jan 4 (UNI) Criticising the Centre for the present ''power crisis'' in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today alleged that the BJP-ruled state was being discriminated against by reducing the power supply from the Central pool.
''Madhya Pradesh is being charged with selling electricity to other states, while only surplus power during the monsoon was sold to others,'' Mr Chouhan told reporters here.
At present, 22 districts were in the grip of drought and efforts were on to provide employment and drinking water, he said.
During his visit to a district hospital, the Chief Minister directed to maintain quality of meals provided to patients.
