Accused in former MLA attack case remanded
Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 4 (UNI) A local court here remanded K Kishore alias Chintu, an acccused in Former MLA C K Babu Attack Case, to 14 days in judicial custody, last night.
III Additional District Judge Sridhar ordered the judicial custody for Chintu. The accused was later taken to the Girimpeta Sub-Jail amid tight security.
Chintu was taken into custody for interrogation on December 31 in connection with the landmine attack against Mr Babu on the morning of the same day. One of his gunmen was killed in the incident.
The Tata Sumo used in the crime was recovered from Nallappareddy Palli in Thavanapaali Mandal in the district yesterday.
