Commuters baton charged for blocking rail traffic
Kalwa, Maharashtra, 29 Dec, 2007 : Police resorted to brutal baton charge as frustrated commuters blocked rail traffic for hours on December 29th, at Kalwa, a small town near Mumbai demanding additional coaches in the local train to the metropolis.
The agitated crowd blocked the local rail traffic and staged a protest at the railway station that later took a violent turn. Responding to the aggression, police officials baton charged the huge mob.
