Surinder Kaur Badal allowed to visit abroad, gets passport

Rupnagar, Jan 3 (UNI) Rupnagar Special Judge G S Saran has allowed Surinder Kaur Badal, wife of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, to visit abroad from January 5 to 12.

The Judge allowed an application filed by Mrs Badal, a co-accused in disproportionate assets case against the chief minister and others, seeking permission to visit Maldives and Sri Lanka from January 5 to 12.

She appeared in the court today to receive her passport after furnishing a personal bond of the sum of Rs Five lakh and one surety of like amount.
