Saif jumps from 22 storied building for 'Race'

Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan jumped from a 22 storied building for a dangerous stunt scene for his forthcoming film 'Race' all by himself.

Speaking to reporters here the director duo Abbas Mastan said, ''Race being an action film has many dangerous stunts and all the stunts had to be shot in such a way that they looked dangerous as well as real. In one of the scenes Saif had to jump down from a 22 storied building and he refused to use a body double for the scene. He wanted to do the scene himself.'' Producer Ramesh Taurani said, ''All the necessary precautions were taken while shooting the scenes. A doctor and an ambulance were kept ready on the sets as a part of precautionary measures.'' ''Everybody on the sets would get frightened and our hearts would stop beating as soon as he jumped down and he did this thrice just to okay the shot and we are thankful to Saif for doing this stunt.'' Mr Taurani added.
