NGO to file PIL seeking health legislation

Bangalore, Jan 3 (UNI) eSushrutha, a Healthcare Informatics and e-Learning Company, involved in the promotion of e-healthcare and healthcare education, will file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) before Supreme Court seeking modification in health related legislations.

Speaking to newsmen here e-Sushrutha CEO Dr Savio Pereira expressed regrets saying that there are several laws in statute book which were outdated and against the spirits of Human rights.

Quoting that the one of the spouse can seek divorce from the court if one among them suffering from epilepsy, Dr Pereira wondered how come such legislations still in vogue in our law books.

"eSushrutha will file a PIL seeking deletion of such provisions in our law" he added.

Dr Pereira said that to promote the cause of e-healthcare and its related subjects e-Sushrutha would launch a mobile e-healthcare van focusing to provide solutions for eye related diseases in Bangalore city and villages surrounding it.

eSushrutha also conduct Family oriented Musical nites and raise funds for the noble cause. eSushrutha will hold its musical show on 13th of this month at St John's Medical College Auditorium. "Apart from local artists, e-Sushrutha have also roped-in the performers from Goa, Delhi, Sharjah" he added.
