Infrastructure facilities to be upgraded in Hampi

Bangalore, Jan 3: Karnataka Tourism department has identified eight places of tourism interest at the world heritage centre of Hampi for development of infrastructure facilities like connecting roads.

Toursim Director Somasheskar told UNI today that it has short listed three agencies and would meet on January 7 for finalisation of the list.

He said that a delagation from UNESCO (World Heritage) led by Francisco Bhandarin would be visiting the state tomorrow to discuss the pending issues regarding Hampi.

Mr Bhandirin would be meeting the Advisors to the Governor in this connection, he said.
