Fire in industrial estate unit destroys office property

Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) A fire broke out in a unit at the Sanjay Mittal Industrial Estate off the Andheri-Kurla road, Marol, this morning.

Fire brigade sources said the fire broke out around 0950 hrs in unit number 19 at the Sanjay Mittal Industrial Estate.

Computers, office furniture and other office equipment were gutted in the fire, the sources said. However, there were no casualties.

Eight fire engines and four water tankers were employed and the fire was brought under control at around 1120 hrs, the sources added.
