CRPF jawan killed in fidayeen attack cremated

Gorakhpur, Jan 3 (UNI) A security personnel, who was killed in the fidayeen attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) group centre on Januray 1, was cremated here today.

The last rites of Rishikesh Rai, native of Chandi village in Bansgaon area, were performed with full state honour, on the banks of river Saryu.

At least seven security personnel were killed in the fatal attack at Rampur district.

UP ministers Rajesh Tripathi and Sadal Prasad paid tribute to the brave jawan.
