Cabinet approves amendment to Payment and Settlement Bill

New Delhi, Jan 3 (UNI) The Union Cabinet today gave ex-post facto approval for modifying the Payment and Settlement Systems Bill, 2006.

The Bill (No 50 of 2006) had been passed by the Lok Sabha on November 26, 2007 and the Rajya Sabha on December 3, 2007, Parliamentary Affairs Minister told reporters after the meeting.

The official amendment is in clause four of the Bill.
