Two men commit suicide overnight in Sonepat

Sonepat, Jan 2 (UNI) A security guard and a middle-aged man allegedly committed suicide in the district overnight, police today said.

According to police, Narender, resident of village Peetampura, working as a guard in industrial unit at Murthal, reportedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in judicial complex here today.

He was seen in serious condition by two motorcycle-borne youths who reportedly brought him in local civil hospital where he breathed his last during treatment.

The police could not record his statement.

In another instance, a 40-year-old person and father of three daughters and two sons allgedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a roof fan in his house at village Safiabad last night.

He was reported to be under mental duress after the death of his wife sometimes back.
