TTD to fill up vacancies in next academic year

Tirupati, Jan 2: Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) would fill up teachers posts lying vacant at TTD-run schools and colleges in the next academic year.

Talking to newspersons here yesterday, TTD Chairman B Karunakara Reddy said the Andhra Pradesh Government had recently given permission to fill-up 489 vacancies in 29 educational institutions run by TTD. A resolution to this effect was passed by the Board on September 29, 2007, he added.

Mr Reddy said, out of 1,016 sanctioned posts, 489 posts were not filled up because of the ban imposed by the Government earlier.

Vacancies meant for Class-IV staff would also be filled up soon, he added.

TTD Executive officer K V Ramanachary, was among others, present on the occasion.
