Tsunami Sub-Committee to visit Kerala tomorrow

Puducherry, Jan 2 (UNI) The Home Ministry's Tsunami Sub-Committee will visit Kochi in Kerala tomorrow to assess whether the funds released by the Centre for tsunami rehabiliation were properly utilised, its chairman V Narayanasamy, MP, said today.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the committee will visit Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu on January four and Andaman and Nicobar islands on January five.

The Committee will interact with the officials of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Governments in Chennai on January six, he said, adding that it will submit its report to the ministry by the month-end.
