Sonia's treatment continuing, advised further rest

New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram hospital here after developing a slight breathing problem, is still undergoing treatment and has been advised further rest.

Ms Gandhi had a comfortable and restful night and is making steady progress. Her treatment is continuing and she has been advised further rest, the medical bulletin released by the hospital said.

Admitted to the hospital after complaining of asthma and chest pain on Monday night, Ms Gandhi was diagnosed with chest infection.
