Sonia Gandhi fully recovering : Congress

New Delhi, Jan 2: The Congress today said its president Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram hospital here after a slight breathing problem, was "fully recovering". "She will be discharged within a day or two," AICC Spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan told mediapersons.

Admitted to the hospital after she complained of asthma and chest pain on Monday night, Ms Gandhi was diagnosed with chest infection. Moreover congress activists conducted prayers at Chilkalguda Church, a dargah near Ramnagar, a party release here said. Poojas were also performed at Sri Sita Ramachandra swamy temple in Bhadrachalam and Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirumala by Congress workers.
