Scotland Yard to investigate Bhutto's assassination
Islamabad, Jan 2 (UNI) Pakistan has sought help from the Scotland Yard police to probe into the assassination of Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto.
''This team will come immediately and will assist our team in the investigation . I hope these investigations would be done properly with Scotland Yard and remove all doubts,'' President Pervez Musharraf said in a address to the nation tonight.
''I am grateful to Prime Minister Brown that he accepted my request,'' Gen Musharraf said referring to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Former prime minister Bhutto was killed in a gun and suicide-bomb attack as she left a rally in Rawalpindi last Thursday.
