Round-the-clock traffic helpline set up in Delhi
New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) The Delhi Police today said they have established a round-the-clock traffic helpline for the convenience of the general public.
In a release here, Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic/VIP R K Meena said the helpline has been established for receiving complaint regarding traffic related problems.
Suggestions for improvement in traffic situations or any type of query and information related to traffic could also be gathered from the helpline, he added.
Mr Meena said the helpline was so far situated at the Traffic Control Room at Vikas Minar on telephone number 23378888, which has now been shifted to Teen Murti Traffic Lines on 23010101.
''In future, any complaint or query or suggestion related to traffic can be registered at the new helpline number,'' he added.
