R K Bawa becomes HP Advocate General

Shimla, Jan 2 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government today named senior advocate R K Bawa as the new Advocate General of Himachal Pradesh, official sources said.

Former additional advocate general, Rajinder Kishore and advocate Roma Kaushik have been appointed the two Additional Advocate Generals, the sources, on condition of anonymity, told UNI here.

The sources said the government also announced the swapping of places between Education Director Anita Rao and Education Advisor OP Sharma, besides naming appointing Sanjeev Katwal as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal's office.

It also named Dr Gain Chand as new Health Director in place of Mr M L Mahajan whose extension has been cancelled by the new Government.
