More victims likely by woman serial killer

Bangalore, Jan 2 (UNI) Mallika, the alleged serial killer who was arrested on the charge of murdering six women, was suspected to have killed three more persons.

Police said Mallika, during interrogation, had revealed that she had also planned to kill three more persons. She would be subjected to narco analysis test to get more details.

Meanwhile, three complaints of missing cases have been received by the city police. However, ''we have to ascertain whether these missing cases are the handiwork of Mallika or not'', Deputy Commissioner of Police Sharat Chandra said.

He said ''on her own admission, she had committed the first murder in 1999 and others in the next five years. However, she appears to be willing to reveal only part of her criminal past. We have appealed to the public to come forward with any information relating to Mallika's criminal acts, in case they had encountered her or were one of her unsuspected targets'' he added.

Mallika had promised her victims remedy for their crises by performing some rituals and than fed them with cyanide, before robbing them of their jewellery and cash.
