M&M December sales touch 15,316 units; up by 1%
New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd (M&M) today said its December sales increased one per cent to 15,316 units from 15,134 units during the same month a year ago.
The domestic sales, including utility vehicles, light commercial vehicles and three-wheelers, however, fell two per cent to 14,267 units from 14,559 units a year earlier, a company statement said.
Exports rose to 1,049 units from 575 units.
The company sold 1,504 units of the Logan sedan, which it makes in a joint venture with French company Renault, it added.
Mahindra, which is also the country's leading tractor maker, sold 6,962 tractors in December from 6,759 units a year earlier, up three per cent.
