Maruti December sales up 10%
New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Country's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) today said its December sales are up 10 per cent to 62,515 units from 56,985 vehicles during the same period last year.
MSIL sold 58,401 units in the domestic market in December 2007 against 54,640 units a year earlier, registering a hike of seven per cent, a company statement said.
The company exported 4,114 units, up 75 per cent from 2,345 units in December 2006.
MSIL's volume in the domestic A2 segment went up by 2.9 per cent, while in A3 segment the domestic volume grew by 54.7 per cent, compared to December 2006, it added.
In the C segment, the sales grew by 23.2 per cent during the month compared to sales in December 2006.
