Hughes communications bags Rs 40 cr contract from SBI
New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Premier networking services company Hughes Communications today said it has bagged a Rs 40 crores worth contract from the State Bank of India (SBI) to deploy a network for running its Core banking solution across 1300 branches in the country.
Under the project slated to be complete by February, Hughes will offer turnkey solutions like Satellite based VPNs, networking equipment and managed services including system integration and network management.
''There are many exciting and innovative developments happening in the banking industry and Hughes is proud to be servicing over 50 of the top banks in the country,'' said, Hughes Communications President and CEO, Partho Banerjee.
