HM militant arrested with grenade in J

Jammu, Jan 2 (UNI) A Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant was arrested by the security forces in Gool area of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said here today.

Sources said , on tip off, troops of 58 and 61 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in Lanchna Budhan area of tehsil Gool yesterday night and arrested one militant of HM outfit.

''The militant has been identified as Irshad alias Adil, resident of Kot Lancha. One Chinese grenade was recovered from his possession,'' sources told UNI, adding that a case under section 307 RPC, 4/5 Explosives Act has been registered against him.
