Food Inspector convicted in DA case

Bhopal, Jan 2: A special court of Jabalpur has awarded two years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000 to Food Inspector Babulal Sharma for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Movable and immovable assets worth Rs 20 lakh were found in the possession of the Food Inspector when the Lokayukta officials raided his Jabalpur residence on March 26, 1996, official sources said. The special court recently convicted him on several counts.
