DDA Vice Chairman Dinesh Rai promoted

New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Vice-chairman of the Delhi Development Authority Dinesh Rai has been promoted to the rank and pay of Secretary of the Union Government.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved In-Situ upgradation of Vice-chairman, Delhi Development Authority, Dinesh Rai in the rank and pay of Secretary, with effect from January 1, 2008, a DDA release said.

Mr Rai, who joined the Delhi Development Authority in September, 2005, was in the scale of Additional Secretary.
