Dalai Lama express gratitude to Union Government

Hubli, Jan 2 (UNI) The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama today expressed his gratitude to Indian Government for providing all help to Tibetan refugees and also for helping the youth by providing employment.

Dalai Lama, who is on a 15-day visit to Mundgod Tibetan center, near here, said that he was really happy for all the help given by the Union Government to the needy refugees.

He declared that he would train 10,000 monks in Buddhism during his stay at Mundgod relief center.

More than 25 thousand monks and disciples gave a hearty welcome to Dalai Lama on his arrival.
