CM lays foundation stone for RIMS
Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today laid the foundation stone for the Rs 119 crore Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) here.
The institute, which would be constructed by LANCO Infrastructure Limited, would consist of a three-storeyed building with 500 beds and a medical college.
Andhra Pradesh Health and Medical Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (APHMHIDC) Executive Engineer B Appala Naidu said the works would be completed before November this year.
So far, the state government had sanctioned Rs 33 crore for the works as first instalment.
