Call money resumes high at 7.10 pc

Mumbai, Jan 2 (UNI) Inter-bank call money market today opened high at 7.10-7.25 per cent compared to the previous close of 6.25-6.75 per cent due to some improved money lenders demand, dealers said.

During the intra-day trading, it touched a widely fluctuation between 6.10 per cent and 7.30 per cent.

According to the marketmen, the rates are expected to raise during the session as there is tight liquidity in the system due to less capital infusion in the call money market.
