Bomb recovered from NTR gardens in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Jan 2 (UNI) A country-made bomb was found in a dustbin at NTR Gardens, located in the heart of the city, near the state Secretariat today.
Police said the local people informed the police an unclaimed tiffin box was seen in a dustbin in the garden, following which bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot and defused it.
Such bombs were used to blast buildings for construction purpose.
The NTR gardens is located in front of Lumbini park, where ten people were killed and over 30 injured in a bomb blast on August 25, 2007.
Meanwhile, security was tightened in and around the Secretariat and people coming to the Secretariat were being thoroughly frisked.
