BJP to announce CM candidate before elections

Bangalore, Jan 2 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Karnataka will project its Chief Minister candidate before the elections to the State Legislative Assembly, BJP National President Rajnath Singh said today.

Speaking to newspersons here, en route to Lingasur in Raichur District, he said the party would come to power in the next elections on its own.

''Karnataka BJP will repeat the election results of Gujarat Assembly polls'', he added.

Mr Singh said the people of Karnataka would reject both Congress and regional outfit JD(S), as they had failed to protect the interests of the people.
