Airtel reduces local outgoing calls across board to Re 1
New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Country's leading mobile services provider Airtel today reduced its local outgoing call tariffs to Re one per minute within its network as well as to any other network or landline, with effect from tomorrow.
The telecom firm said in a statement that all its prepaid customers whose existing local call rates are more than Re one per minute will be migrated to the revised tariff of Re one per minute without any conditions attached.
It added that this benefit will also be extended to its postpaid customer within the next week.
The tariff applies to any local call made from an Airtel prepaid mobile to an Airtel mobile, an Airtel prepaid mobile to any other mobile network in the same circle and an Airtel prepaid mobile to any local landline number.
However, this tariff change is not applicable to 495 Life time prepaid customers and other customers enjoying special benefits like Happy Recharge.
