ACC's production down 4.24% in Dec '07

New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Country's leading cement manufacturer ACC Ltd today said its production saw a 4.24 per cent decline in December 2007, which stood at 1.58 million tonnes (MT) as against 1.65 MT during the same period a year ago.

The despatches stood at 1.57 MT during December 2007 as compared to 1.67 MT for the same period during the previous year, a company statement said.

The production for the calender year 2007 was 19.92 MT compared to 18.73 MT, it added.

The despatch stood at 19.88 MT in 2007 as against 18.71 MT in the calender year 2006, registering a growth of 6.2 per cent.
